In my practice, playing is central. This is mainly reflected in two areas: my way of looking at interiors and my way of choosing materials. When I start a work, I dig into my memory for places interiors I have seen that stayed with me, or spaces that emerge from my imagination. These pieces of furniture appear on my canvas in different perspectives and approaches, coming together in a “frustrating harmony.”

In the elaboration of materials, I like to play with different approaches. I search for combinations of hard, soft, and rough brushstrokes, alongside oil bars, high-gloss paint, thick pencils, spray paint, and epoction. I let them all dance together on my canvas, forming one work.

In addition to painting on canvas, I let my inner magpie emerge the love for everything that glitters. I transform my drawings into “diamond paintings,” exploring an extra tactile dimension: the reflection of light, the work coming to life and continuously changing. In doing so, I touch upon a feminist point, both visually and conceptually.
